The AZSBDC‘s October 20 Coffee & Connections event will feature a presentation by Jim Goulka, Managing Director of the Arizona Technology Investor Forum (ATIF). The event will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the Innovations Incubator, 145 S. 79th St. in Chandler.
Goulka will talk about the types of projects that his group of 40 investors are interested in funding and how entrepreneurs should communicate with them. ATIF members have a proven record of investment, with more than $5 million invested in 17 companies since 2007.
Goulka will address the concerns entrepreneurs have around raising capital by answering questions about who investors are, how they think about what they invest in and whether they are only looking for the next Facebook, Google or Twitter.
