The course focuses on teaching the art of better busines practices while producing a comprehensive business plan to guide business expansion decisions and activities. Entrepreneurs will learn how and when to start business planning, how to organize and better manage their business, how to identify opportunities and market their business, how to understand and get the business' financial in order and much more!
Program is free to businesses licensed with the City of Mesa that have been in business one year or more (up to two attendees per business). Businesses not in Mesa the fee is $195 for the first person. Additional attendees from the same company may attend for $125 each.

Following the sessions each business owner will be eligible for ten or more hours of one-on-one business counseling and instruction to help them complete their accounts, pages and templates and to implement their social media strategy. Workshops will be held at Phoenix College Downtown Campus in room 125 and business counseling will be at the Maricopa SBDC office at 2400 N. Central Ave., Room 104. There is no cost to owners of small and emerging businesses within the City of Phoenix.
